Steven Van Cluysen, born in 1975 and from childhood, was surrounded by the guitars of his father. From that exposure to his father's playing, Steve had the passion for guitars ingraned into his very being...from father to son. After obtaining a degree in electronics, he turned his passion for guitars into his profession as a guitar builder. His passion for the acoustic guitars remain the greatest passion of his life.

In 1999, he began with the building of acoustic archtop guitars and electric guitars under the name VC Guitars. All VC guitars are handcrafted with the utmost care and using only the highest quality materials that produce a sparkling tone.

In addition to building handmade instruments, Steven offers repairs services.
